summer
and
gratitude
Right
now the weather seems stuck between the crisp, yet sunny
autumn days
(always full of bright and glorious colors) and the cold, yet snowy
winter days (always full of sledding, snowball fights, and snow
angels). It's that time where it decides to be cold, yet with no snow.
Colorless, yet with nothing to play in. It's that time where you must
make yourself take a picture, for if you don't, you won't take any at
all. It's the time that God made. The same time that God
made...for a purpose. Thank you God for making this season of weather, because when the snow does come, I am even more grateful. because you can actually pick out that flash of color now. because You made it.
Choosing to be thankful for the things we'd rather not have is awfully difficult. But it is what God calls us to do.
"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name." - Hebrews 13:15

Look at the trees, (In my area) they are barren of their leaves for winter and the snow has not yet come to embrace them. Even though the trees are not beautiful right now, they will soon be covered in the beauty of the snow. God knows how to make beautiful things, He made them for us :) I am so thankful that He made things pretty as they are...that is nature anyway.
Your right, it is really hard, and I haven't been grateful for a lot of things as I ought lately - thanks for the encouragement!
The picture is beautiful!!
