During my two weeks at Life Action I would eat granola with my yogurt nearly every morning. I think I got attached to it. I told dad my desire to have it here at home and he told me I'd have to find some healthy (and not terribly expensive) yogurt first. Well, I remembered reading how to make homemade yogurt on someones blog...so we thought we'd give it a try.
It's super easy, so if you would like to try it sometime click here!

Looking Through Mom's Lens
Yesterday we picked up our friends and headed to the beach. We were able to go to a more secluded beach and had bunches of fun! All but the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pictures are taken by my mom.

Emmy and I. I LOVE this picture!!
Sisters - I also love this picture!
Lydia and I. This is my dear, old friend who gave me that bookmark so long ago.
We ended our photo shoot with dumping Emily into the water.
Ok, no not really. We set her down quite nicely and then we ran to get our swim suits on...

Little Men by Louisa M. Alcott
I'm back.
My work at Life Action camp is over.
It is a bittersweet feeling as I am glad to be home to rest and be with my family, but sad to leave the work, fun and friends. I took the camera, however I ended up taking a total of 2 pictures - and of these two there is nothing to share. I wish I could better share my experience.
So you all know 'Little Woman' right? Well, this is 'Little Men'. I found it about several weeks ago and I really liked it. Actually, I love it. It's about Jo and her school for boys. I loved reading all about the boys antics, about life at a school for boys, and just everyday kind of life.
This bookmark is a little treasure from an old, dear friend. She gave this to me many, many years ago and I just recently stumbled upon it while going through her letters.

Mulberry Pies
It's summer. Finally. It's was actually 90 degrees today! This whole week I've been able to walk out to our backyard and pick a handful of mulberries. I had been wanting to make a mulberry pie but there just wasn't enough. But then we spotted a mulberry tree at my violin teachers house. We were able to go pick enough for a pie and 3 large pockets! I was quite happy and went home and made that pie. :)
This is our little mulberry tree. My teachers tree is huge and loaded with berries!
So, you can laugh at my pie making skills...even though I love to bake and cook, I haven't made pies often at all. I haven't much experience, but I hope to get some more in.
Me and my pie...haha! :)
{1. This post was written last week, when I wasn't able to upload any pictures. 2. Mom and I had a photo session at the lake. Go to her blog to see the pictures}

2 Weeks & Happy 4th
I thought you'd all like to know that I am leaving for 2 weeks. I'm going to work at Life Action camp. I'm leaving with Heather this evening - we're going to go play soccer as the camp people (mostly staff and crew) do every Sunday evening during the summer. In the past two years I've always watched, but never played. This time I'm doing it! :D
I've been trying to upload pictures but the internet isn't working well enough and it always fails. :( I'm sorry about that. Oh, and Happy Fourth of July!!!
P.S. I took these pictures from my old blog - and if thy seem fuzzy to you, well, they really are perfectly clear.
