she wants in

they (the cats) go from door to door trying their best at getting inside.  molly has tried climbing up our ladder which is presently leaning against the side of our house (the side where the sun room is, with plenty of windows to look in) but that doesn't let her in either.  however, she does look pretty cute sitting on the middle step, her eyes searching the inside of the house.

don't you love how her tail is wrapped on the third picture? :)

Brodie - One of Three

This is our crazy kitten, Brodie.  He's free, if anyone wants him. :)
He loves to run and play and wrestle with his siblings.  He can be quite hipper, but when you pick him up he goes limp and gets a little attitude (it's so cute!). And of course you can see that's he's as cute as could be. :)

{A Photo} Challenge - A Photo of a Pet

I'm entering in a photo challenge again.  Yes, I know! I haven't done this for quite a while.  But I decided I would start doing a few (at least) again.   This time it's suppose to be a photo of a pet.
This here is our miracle kitty, Mila. :)

This Little Surprise

A little surprise came to us on Saturday evening.

We found this kitty on our back porch, begging to come inside.  She's still young, not fully grown.  I picked her up and she seemed quite tame, and she definitely knew what "inside" was.

She stayed the whole night, and since we couldn't let her starve, we fed her.

She's still here.  We're not sure where she came from, but she's not a stray.  She is very used to people and indoors.

Today it was so nice I had to go outside to do my school.  The cats where out with me, and this one seemed quite preoccupied by the dozens of flies.

Close up - isn't he cute??? (haha - sure...)

Maybe God thought we needed another cat to make up for Squirt's death.  It's kind of funny, for they are the same size. :)
Soon we'll have to come up with a name - do you have any suggestions???

**Please forgive the terrible lighting.  The sun was shining brightly and she is one
black cat!**

Squirt

Even though she started weak and small,

she somehow managed to grow up just fine.
She had a fun personality - always wanting to play and usually rumbling with purrs.  She was almost afraid to go outside, at least it seemed.  So it was a big surprise when Heather and I were coming home one evening and she was up by the mailbox (we have a long drive way, and this would be a long walk for her).  This past Friday we found out that she had been hit by a car and died.

I will miss her

Winter

Yesterday I found myself walking around our property (and off our property) looking for anything to take a picture of.  This is what I came up with.

I almost laughed when I saw this - I guess the snow got a little too heavy

Sammy is always faithful about following you wherever you go (into the woods, down the road etc.), so I had to snap a few of her.
Here she is sitting on top of the chicken coop door.

She seemed quite fascinated with...something.  I quickly took a picture and was pleased to have found that it actually turned out.

Does anyone know what these are called?  I've always liked them, but never knew what they are called.

Squirt - In Black & White

I just love looking into her eyes.
Look close and you'll see our yard, the patch of ivy (the darker area) and a few trees in her eyes.

Different angle

You actually see me in her eyes in these last two pictures.

Sneak Peak

I had another "photo shoot" with Squirt...for some reason I just really liked black & white with these.
I'll be posting a few more later.

Squirt - Getting Bigger

She's getting bigger and filling out more!  She's got her own personality, and can barely sit still.  That's why I just had to take pictures of her while she just laying there.

I love how she is holding her paws :)

This is Squirt, our tiny kitten.

She's really 6 weeks old...and should be about twice the size of what she is now.

Her eyes are huge and so adorable!  She loves to play, but also loves to be held...over all she loves drinking from the kitten bottle. :)
